What is Host ID?

A Host ID is a number unique to the particular machine on which Intellyze is going to be used. When purchasing Intellyze, you are asked to provide a list of the Host IDs of up to three machines you own and intend to use Intellyze on in order for us to generate the license file for you.

 

How do I obtain my Host ID?

To retrieve your Host ID, follow one of the two following methods:

 

Method#1: Using the GetHostID utility

 

1- Download the GetHostID utility from here.

2- Run GetHostID.exe

3- A list of your Host IDs will appear in the box, click on the Copy button to copy content to your clipboard.

4- Paste the content in the Host ID field during the purchase of Intellyze.

Method#2: Using the MS-DOS Command Prompt (For advanced users)

 

1- MS-DOS Command Prompt:

-If you are using Windows XP or older, click the Windows Start Menu and Select Run, then type cmd and press Enter.

-If you are using Windows Vista or newer, click the Windows Start Menu and  type cmd and press Enter.

2- Type getmac and press Enter.

3- A list of your Host IDs will appear under Physical Address. Right click and select Mark then highlight the Host IDs list and press Enter in your keyboard to copy the Host IDs to your clipboard.

4- Paste the content in the Host ID field during the purchase of Intellyze.
